Pokemon Black Save File Help

Hello all! I hope this is the right place to ask this, but is it possible if anyone could help me recover/potentially repair my Pokemon Black save file? 

How it happened (could help explain how it corrupted??): 

• I closed the lid on my DS and then after about 5 minutes later I came back to turn it off using the slider (I did NOT open the lid when I turned it off) 
• After a bit I came back to play Pokemon Black again and in the R4 card menu, I found that the game AND sav file were both gone and I could not locate them 

What I Did After:

• Using a data recovery software I WAS able to pick up my sav file back but after running it through PKHeX it threw and error and wasn't able to read it (0x80000). 
• I then used a Hex editor to view the sav file. 
  • I'm unfamiliar with Hex editing/viewing in general, but it *appears* the data is mostly there(??) I'm unsure if this is junk data or if its something someone with more knowledge than me can work with and help me on 

This specific save file means a lot to me sentimentally so if anyone could give me any closure on it/help me with it I would be more than grateful!
